Buyer Assistant

Responsibilities

• New part ID’s
• Part ID’s
• Establish new Suppliers
• Maintain current Supplier relationships
• Record keeping on price-lists
• Monitor price increases or decreases
• Assist with re-orders (local and imports)
• Establish product portfolio (Supplier catalogue)
• Price and supply negotiations
• Purchase order follow-ups
• Requisition filing

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
• Driver’s license and own transport
• Computer literate (MS Office, Excel)
