SUMMARY:
Our client in the Automotive Industry, has an opportunity available for a Buyer to be based in the Eastern Suburbs of Johannesburg.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Matric/Grade 12
Diploma: Purchasing / Supply Chain
4-5 years Buying experience both Imports & Local Suppliers. Automotive industry advantageous.
Strong Customer focus & service delivery orientation
Strong written and verbal communication skills

KPAs:

Create orders on the system (daily/monthly)
Use Netstock Dashboard tools to avoid stock outs
Negotiate bulk quantities and prices
Measure supplier delivery & service performance and communicate results via a Supplier Score Card
Ensure all prices are communicated and negotiated in advance.
Negotiate acknowledgement of liability in service level agreement, and performance standards
Provide technical support and resolve customer queries
Data management
