SUMMARY:

Our client in the FMCG industry is seeking an Indirect Buyer to join them in Fourways, Sandton. This person will be responsible for purchasing all indirect products for the Group. This includes furniture, stationary, engineering parts and general equipment.

POSITION INFO:

Position: Buyer (Indirect)

Location: Fourways, Sandton

Salary Range: R 25 000.00 – R 30 000.00

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

Purchasing materials, supplies and equipment
Negotiating with suppliers
Research possible item selections
Taking inventory of products
Develop and effective system for monitoring purchase orders
Deliver weekly purchase order reports
Maintaining inventory levels

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

Matric
Certificate or higher in purchasing management
5 years’ experience in purchasing
