We are seeking an experienced Buyer / Senior Procurement Officer to manage and optimise procurement and supply chain operations within a fast-paced retail/manufacturing environment. Jhb based.

This role is critical to ensuring the timely sourcing of raw materials and construction retail products while driving cost efficiencies, supplier performance, and inventory optimisation.
â¶ï¸The successful candidate will bring strong negotiation skills, technical product knowledge, and the ability to align procurement strategies with broader operational and supply chain objectives.

â¶ï¸Requirements
Qualifications

Degree (essential)
Knowledge of ISO standards: 9001, 3834, 14001, 45001
Sound understanding of INCOTERMS and import/export processes

Experience & Skills

Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement and supply chain (retail or manufacturing)
Strong technical knowledge of raw materials and construction retail products
Proven sourcing and supplier negotiation experience
ERP system experience (K8 Kerridge or similar)
Advanced MS Excel and strong MS Outlook skills

Additional Requirements

Valid South African driver’s license and passport
Fluent in English
