Butchery Manager

SUMMARY:
A well-established butchery based in Cape Town is seeking an experienced and hands-on Butchery Manager to lead and oversee daily operations.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full operations of the butchery
• Supervise and lead staff to ensure productivity and efficiency
• Implement and maintain effective stock control procedures
• Oversee receiving of stock and ensure quality and quantity checks
• Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of orders
• Manage invoicing and daily administrative functions
• Monitor waste control and maintain hygiene and safety standards
• Ensure excellent customer service and maintain strong supplier relationships

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a butchery
• Strong knowledge of stock control procedures
• Experience with receiving and dispatch processes
• Computer literate (MS Office and invoicing systems)
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
