SUMMARY:
INTERMEDIATE / SENIOR BUSINESS & SOLUTIONS ANALYST - Centurion | Permanent

Own the solution. Drive the change. Make an impact.
Our client is a well-established and trusted South African automotive marketplace, operating across both online and physical channels and forming part of a large group.
They are looking for an Intermediate or Senior Business & Solutions Analyst who enjoys getting stuck into real business challenges, connecting the dots between business and technology, and taking ownership of solutions from concept through to implementation and beyond.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll work closely with business stakeholders, developers and specialist technical resources to design and deliver solutions across the group’s systems landscape.

POSITION INFO:

What you’ll be doing

Designing end-to-end integration solutions and business processes
Leading the delivery of technical solutions and coordinating developers and specialist resources
Gathering and analysing requirements and compiling BRDs and technical specifications
Translating business needs into practical, scalable technology solutions
Facilitating requirements workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions
Analysing and redesigning business and system processes to identify opportunities for optimisation and automation
Acting as a functional expert on group systems and the escalation point for complex support issues
Investigating whether issues are technical, process, user or vendor-related and driving them through to resolution
Preparing and professionally presenting solution proposals
Providing regular project and solution reporting to the CIO and key stakeholders
Building strong relationships across the business and identifying opportunities for further improvement
Exploring how AI tools and technologies can be applied to improve business analysis, processes and solutions

What you’ll need

5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst and/or IT Project Manager
Strong experience with REST APIs and system integrations
Experience with platforms such as Salesforce would be advantageous, although experience with similar platforms will be considered
Strong business process modelling and process design experience
B.Com or similar qualification highly advantageous
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking ability
A highly self-managed and proactive approach — you’ll receive training on internal systems, but need to be someone who can quickly learn, investigate and figure things out
An innovative mindset with the confidence to challenge the status quo
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where priorities can shift and ownership is expected
Knowledge of AI tools and their practical application within a Business Analysis or Solutions environment

Nice to have

Exposure to accounting principles and terminology

Why this role?

This is an opportunity for someone who doesn’t simply want to document requirements and hand them over. You’ll have genuine ownership — from understanding the business problem and designing the solution, through to coordinating delivery, implementation and optimisation.
If you’re curious, commercially minded and enjoy solving complex business problems through technology, integration and innovation, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.
