POSITION INFO:

Job Title: Business Development Specialist (Interior/Architecture Background is a MUST) 

Location- Cape Town(Waterfront) 

Overview

A Business Development Specialist is required to drive growth and support the expansion of business opportunities. The role focuses primarily on business development, with a secondary contribution to interior design initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Engaging with existing client and industry contacts
• Researching and reaching out to potential new clients
• Monitoring and analysing the local property market
• Coordinating marketing efforts with established networks
• Managing and presenting marketing materials and brochures
• Running and managing social media campaigns (including platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and the company website)
• Reviewing and contributing to SEO strategies and digital marketing initiatives

Interior Design Support

• Provide support in establishing an interior design division
• Contribute to the setup and development of a showroom space
• Assist with interior design initiatives as a secondary function to core business development responsibilities

Performance Management

• Participate in weekly review meetings to assess progress and align on priorities
• Contribute to mid-month performance reviews, including maintaining and presenting performance tracking reports
• Work toward clearly defined performance targets and business development outcomes

Performance will be evaluated based on:

• Low Performance: Limited or no business generated, or revenue does not meet baseline expectations
• Mid Performance: Business generated meets baseline targets with a developing opportunity pipeline
• High Performance: Strong business generation with a robust and sustainable pipeline

• Collaboration with internal team members to effectively deliver on responsibilities
