Business Development Representative (BDR) – Sales | Cape Town or Johannesburg (Hybrid)

Our client is a fast-growing, globally established player in the Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS) space — helping major enterprises modernise how they engage their customers, partnering with the biggest names in cloud contact centre technology. With over 35 years in the game and a footprint across the UK, South Africa, India and the USA, this is a business built for scale, and they're looking for their next BDR to help drive that growth from the front line.
This isn't a "sit and wait for leads" role. You'll be on the phone, on LinkedIn, in inboxes, and at industry events — sourcing conversations, qualifying opportunities, and booking meetings with enterprise decision-makers. You'll be comfortable talking to C-suite, get coached hard, and get better fast.

POSITION INFO:
Role:

Researching and prospecting target accounts through LinkedIn, email and cold calling
Qualifying leads and booking meetings for the sales team, with sharp handover notes
Supporting event-led campaigns — including attending industry events, working the stand, and having confident, professional face-to-face conversations
Managing your own pipeline and activity with discipline and urgency

Who we're looking for:

A driven, self-managed go-getter who wants more — more growth, more opportunity, more reward

Tech-savvy, comfortable with spreadsheets, data, and CRM tools (Salesforce experience a plus)
Degree-educated, with strong written and verbal English
1–3 years' experience in B2B sales ideal, customer-facing, recruitment, retail, hospitality or commercial roles
Curious about business, tech and how companies solve real operational problems
Consultative, not pushy — someone who asks great questions and actually listens
