Our client, a leading player in the Courier industry, is looking for an experienced and driven New Business Development Executive to join their Cape Town team!

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Identify and target new business opportunities within the Courier market.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
Cold call, prospect, network and get in front of decision-makers.
Develop tailored logistics solutions that meet client needs.
Prepare and present competitive proposals and quotations.
Negotiate and close new business deals.
Build long-term relationships and grow your client portfolio.
Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

Requirements:

Proven New Business Development / Sales experience within the Courier market
A strong understanding of imports, exports, ocean and airfreight.
An established network within the logistics industry would be highly advantageous.
A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
A strong hunter mentality and the ability to convert leads into business.
