POSITION INFO:

• Grade 12 plus relevant Business/Marketing qualification or a minimum of 5 years'''' Business Consultanting experience
• Extensive travelling involved - Gauteng sites as well as Mpumalanga and North West

DUTIES

Sales and Budgeting

• Assist in developing budgets for the business by providing insights that inform volume performance, forecasts and emerging trends
• Set volume targets for each site and monitor actual performance against these targets
• Drive initiatives to increase both fuel and non-fuel sales (e.g., convenience store, car wash)

2. Operational Oversight

• Act as liaison with the supply to ensure consistent fuel delivery across all sites
• Coordinate with logistics to minimize disruptions
• Facilitate maintenance and repairs of company-owned equipment at the sites

3. Financial Oversight

• Monitor and enforce compliance with credit limits
• Ensure timely collection of payments from retailers

4. Business Development & Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and retailers to resolve operational and financial issues
• Ensure retailers and site managers comply with contractual obligations and uphold brand standards
• Identify and report growth opportunities as well as risks to business continuity
• Support other business units (e.g. rebranding and development) by assisting with compliance-related matters such as municipal documentation and permits

5. Marketing Oversight

• Support the brand in executing marketing campaigns by attending brand meetings, ensuring retailer understanding and compliance
• Assist in the execution of localized marketing initiatives at site level
• Analyze marketing campaign performance and adjust cluster strategies accordingly

6. Compliance and Reporting

• Organize and facilitate mandatory training sessions (e.g., RITC, CSA) for retailers and their managers
• Monitor customer service levels using tools such as mystery shopper reports and implement corrective actions as needed
• Provide guidance on best practices and brand expectations
• Manage escalated customer complaints beyond the service station level
• Report all incidents at retail sites to the brand as required
• Submit operational reports to the General Manager
• Ensure all site visit reports are properly recorded and available for review
• Communicate new brand policies and initiatives (e.g. payment processes) to retailers
