Are you passionate about bridging the gap between business needs and innovative technology solutions? We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Business Analyst to join a dynamic team. In this role, you’ll analyse business processes, gather requirements, and provide data-driven insights to support smarter decision-making and improved operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
Document and validate functional and non-functional requirements.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Business Process Improvement:

Evaluate current processes to identify gaps and areas for optimization.
Recommend and document improved workflows that align with business goals.
Partner with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.

Project Support:

Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and third-party vendors.
Define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
Support testing efforts, including UAT and test case development.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Analyse data to identify trends and actionable insights.
Develop reports and dashboards that support informed decision-making.
Promote data governance and accuracy.

AI and Technology Alignment:

Identify opportunities to integrate AI and analytics tools into business processes.
Collaborate with leadership on evaluating and implementing new technologies.
Stay abreast of emerging tech trends.

Documentation and Training:

Maintain detailed documentation of systems, processes, and requirements.
Create user manuals and training materials.
Provide training and support to end-users.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis, Information Systems, or a related field.
Business Analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Agile methodologies (advantageous).

Experience:

5–7 years in a Business Analyst role, ideally within insurance or financial services.
Demonstrated success in delivering business and technology solutions.

Skills & Attributes:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Proficient in business analysis tools and techniques.
Familiar with AI applications and data analytics platforms.
Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and projects.
