POSITION INFO:

Job Description:
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Own the endâtoâend monthly and annual financial reporting cycle
Prepare accurate monthly management accounts within agreed deadlines
Ensure the general ledger is fully reconciled to the balance sheet each month
Process and oversee all supplier invoices with accuracy and timeliness
Process customer invoicing and ensure integrity of revenue records
Maintain full responsibility for the annual audit file and audit readiness
Liaise with auditors to ensure a smooth, efficient audit process
Prepare and review monthly creditor reconciliations with no outstanding reconciling items
Review monthly bank and petty cash reconciliations for completeness and accuracy
Review all payments prior to approval to ensure validity and correctness
Ensure all payments are released timeously and in line with controls
Take full responsibility of all tax submissions and payments across the business
Maintain continuous tax and regulatory compliance
Drive compliance across all financial policies and procedures
Document, standardise, and improve financial processes while ensuring all supporting documentation is properly filed and uploaded

Skills & Experience:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
Must have valid SA driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.

Qualification:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
SAIPA or SAIBA registered
Experience in SAGE or ZERO
