Building Administrator

SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking a Building Administrator/Events Support role that will ensure the efficient day-to-day operation, while also providing essential operational support to the Student Life Events Planner.

• Prior experience in facilities support, event coordination, or customer service.

• Serve as the first point of contact for building-related inquiries and issues.
• Monitor and maintain building cleanliness, safety, and functionality; report maintenance concerns as needed.
• Oversee the opening/closing of the building and ensure daily operations run smoothly.
• Ensure compliance with safety, access, and occupancy policies.
• Assist the Events Planner with the setup, execution, and teardown of events and programs.
• Prepare spaces with necessary materials, decorations, signage, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues during events (e.g., technical problems, last-minute layout changes).
• Welcome attendees and provide customer service during events as needed.
• Support event promotion through on-site displays or distributing materials
