POSITION INFO:

We are seeking an outgoing and client‑focused Broker Assistant to join our team in Lyttelton. This role involves daily client interaction, policy administration, and supporting short‑term insurance operations with precision and professionalism.

 Key Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the insurance industry

• General industry knowledge and understanding of policy administration

• RE5 qualification and Professional Development points

• Strong communication and client‑service skills

• Excellent record‑keeping and organizational abilities

• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office

• Valid Code B driver’s license and own transport

• Outgoing personality and ability to work well with people

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily client queries and policy administration

• Maintain accurate records of client engagements

• Support brokers with documentation and follow‑ups

• Ensure high customer satisfaction and timely responses

• Assist with short‑term insurance referrals and commission tracking

Salary: R12 000 – R18 000 per month 

Commission: 30% on short‑term insurance referrals (paid monthly) 

Location: 1020 Pretorius Avenue, Lyttelton, 0157 

Working Hours: 8am – 5pm (Monday to Friday)
