SUMMARY:

Our client in the liquor industry is seeking a proactive Branch Manager to oversee operations in Gauteng. Manage personnel, warehouse, fleet, sales team, and more. Position is based in Braamfischer. Salary: R40 000 - R45 000 pm depending on experience.

POSITION INFO:

The Branch in its totality must be managed by the branch Manager. To manage all the operational aspects of the Branch Warehouse, Branch Bottle Store and Branch Empties department including Distribution, Customer service, Human resources, Administration and Stock Management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage a team of 80 - 100 personnel
Oversee the liquor shop
Oversee the Warehouse
Oversee the fleet
Plan and manage the warehouse to maximise work flow with regards to new deliveries, returns and dispatch.
Manage the picking process.
Coordinate, manage and monitor the workings for operations and resolve and attend to any queries.
Ensure stock is ordered in time/ on time
Ensure pricing is correct
Manage the cash office and cash handling
Stay abreast of the market and implement changes to promote sales by identifying current and future trends that appeal to the market
Manage a fleet of 10 trucks
Manage a team of sales reps
Do quarterly reviews with the top 20 customers
Overall upkeep and cleaning of the branch.
CSR with local community
Monitor the fluctuating supply and demand within the store
Ensure all promotions are accurate and merchandising to the company’s standards
Ensure all occupational health and safety regulations are upheld and maintained
Handle all internal and external queries
Do monthly forecasts on sales
Give monthly branch performance feedback to the directors
Handle all labour relations for the branch.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric
7-10 years management experience
Experience in the Liquor Industry
Experience in the retail industry
Drivers License
Computer Literate
