Boutique & Gallery Sales Assistant

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a stylish, guest-focused and sales-driven Boutique & Gallery Assistant to join the team at a prestigious 5-star game lodge. This is a live-in role suited to someone with a passion for luxury retail, African art and design, and exceptional guest interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and engage guests in the boutique and gallery space
• Drive boutique sales through personalised service and upselling
• Maintain stock levels, displays, and merchandising standards
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Assist with stock takes, reporting and supplier coordination
• Stay up to date on product knowledge, including local art and artisanal products
• Ensure the boutique and gallery are always clean, elegant, and inviting

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Previous luxury retail or boutique lodge sales experience
• Passion for design, fashion, and African crafts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and personal presentation
• Fluent in English (Afrikaans or other languages a plus)
• POS and inventory management experience advantageous
• Willingness to work flexible lodge hours, weekends, and holidays
