Bookkeeper to Trial Balance – Milnerton

SUMMARY:
Can you confidently manage the full bookkeeping function for multiple businesses while meeting deadlines and maintaining meticulous attention to detail?
 
This role in Milnerton provides support for the day-to-day financial operations and reports directly to the group accountant.
 
The successful candidate will have a strong background in creditors, debtors, and account reconciliations, together with the ability to resolve queries professionally and efficiently.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 (tertiary finance qualification advantageous)
• Minimum 3 years' bookkeeping experience
• Strong skills in creditors, debtors, and account reconciliations
• High accuracy, strong numerical and analytical ability
• Professional written and verbal communication
• Organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently or in a team
• Experience with Xero, Monday.com, and Google Workspace is a plus
• Discretion and professionalism with confidential information

• Manage daily bank allocations, reconciliations, and investigation of unreconciled items
• Process and reconcile creditors — supplier invoices, statements, and query resolution
• Allocate customer payments, reconcile debtor accounts, and assist with arrears management and collections
• Review billing, fee structures, and revenue for accurate invoicing and month-end reporting
• Administer monthly debit orders, mandates, and follow up on unpaid or disputed transactions
• Handle high volumes of financial transactions while maintaining accurate records
• Resolve queries from stakeholders and suppliers professionally and efficiently
