Bookkeeper to Balance Sheet

POSITION INFO:

This position involves:
Overseeing the finance functions for 3 branches
Overseeing the financial and admin department
Capturing and checking deposits daily
Overseeing all aspects of debtors
Capturing payments from bank accounts
Gathering month end journals for both CRI & Servco
Loading creditor payments
Assisting with creditor reconciliations
Authorizing payments on FNB Online
EMP201 reconciliations and submission via SARS e-filing monthly
Recording VAT reconciliations
Capturing cash receipts and payments on Pastel
Preparing quarterly management accounts
Ad-hoc functionalities

Skills & Experience:
Payroll experience on Pastel Payroll
Stock and asset management experience
Trail balance and balance sheet exposure
Experience with E-filing and easy file
Assisted with audits

Qualification:
Financial Diploma or B. Com Degree in Accounting or similar (advantageous)
Bookkeeping qualification (essential)
Minimum 4+years of bookkeeping experience
Manufacturing, Sales and Services background (advantageous)
