Bookkeeper Randburg

POSITION INFO:

Role
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining books to balance sheet. 
General Bookkeeper tasks

• Has had experience putting together a management pack and can explain and report on trends
• Solid understanding of key financial prinicples:
• Audit file preparation
• Tax administration 
• Processing of closing journals
• Bank reconciliations
• The candidate must be able to work independently and understand the importance of month end processes
• Has the ability to manage and complete important tasks
• Sound administrative skills
• Trust accounting and reconciliations
• Updating of a daily cashflow
• Ability to follow month end processes and document same
• Presentation of monthly management accounts
• Payroll experience
• Submiting statutory returns 

Skills and experience you bring to the role:
• Diploma in Accounting or Financial Management.
• At least 3 years previous experience. Bookkeeping to balance sheet essential.

• Experience with trust accounts is required
• Must have valid drivers license and own reliable transport.
• Knowledge of VAT regulations.
• Great time management skills.
• Confident in building strong working relationships.
• Strong Excel, Word, Google Sheets and Outlook skills.
• Experience working on Xero would be advantageous
