SUMMARY:
Do you have a minimum of five years’ experience with budgeting, forecasts, reports and billings? Your experience in the finance sector in a property company will be ideal for this position.

This position is based in Cape Town and our Client will require you to work alongside their finance team based in London. You will be working with a team of Service Charge Account Managers, Credit Controllers, Accounts Administrators and Property Managers.

Our Client offers hybrid working – remote working from home with one day per week in the office in Stellenbosch, so a good internet access is essential.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS
Matric and relevant Accounting qualification

Strong communication and technical skills
Good knowledge of business and property accounting systems as well as advanced MS Excel and Word Skills
Xero Accounting package experience is highly advantageous
Property accounting background with experience in budgets, forecasts, reporting and billings
Ability to meet tight deadlines and attention to details

DUTIES

Carry out weekly reconciliation and accurate bookkeeping of Business Accounts
Issue sales invoices to clients and process payments
Proof check all supplier invoices are uploaded on the system and processed for payment
Assist in compiling and presenting financial/budget reports
Liaise with Service Charge team regarding any queries or payment discrepancies
Performing credit control functions on all Business Accounts
Monitor Quarterly targets and cashflow and report to Line Manager on any discrepancies

Salary: R20,000 to R22,000 pcm (Depending on experience and qualifications)
