SUMMARY:
Role Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper to join our finance team.

The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting month-end and year-end reporting.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Record day-to-day financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments
Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of ledgers
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
Support payroll processing and expense claims
Maintain organized and accurate financial records
Collaborate with senior accountants and management on financial matters
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

Matric plus a relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualification (e.g., Certificate in Bookkeeping, SAIBA, or similar)
2-3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Proficiency in accounting software (Pastel, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Good communication and organizational skills
