Bookkeeper (Half day)

SUMMARY:
Our client, based in Mossel Bay is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Half-Day Bookkeeper to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full bookkeeping function up to trial balance, ensuring accurate financial records and supporting smooth day-to-day financial operations.

POSITION INFO:
Description:

• Perform full bookkeeping function up to trial balance
• Capture and process financial transactions accurately
• Reconcile bank accounts, creditors, and debtors
• Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts
• Assist with month-end procedures and reporting
• Maintain proper filing and financial record systems
• Liaise with management and external accountants where required

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper
• Solid knowledge of bookkeeping up to trial balance (essential)
• Experience with accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently
• Experience with PayProp or similar property management/accounting systems
• Experience in property or rental environment
• Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualification
