Bookkeeper - EE (Centurion)

SUMMARY:
A Bookkeeper maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.

Qualifications and or Experience:

• Matric with Accounting
• Bookkeeping Diploma or similar NQF4
• At least 3 years’ experience in commerce and industry
• Credit guarantee policy experience - advantage
• Computer Literate – proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel Skills.
• Previous Financial software package experience essential
• A valid driver’s license
• Own transport

• Cash-Ups
• Check 4700 vs Vision Report to ensure totals are the same.
• Capture daily Cash Up for all stores.
• Reconcile the day in the 4700 accounts – Must be zero.
• Processing of cashbook daily using previous statements for all stores (all outgoing payments)
• Processing of cashbook daily using previous statements for store (all outgoing payments)
• Processing of Creditors for all stores:
• Accurate capturing of all supplier invoices to correct GL Accounts in the correct period and to the correct supplier accounts – no usage of the Miscellaneous Account. This includes rent, telephones, etc.
• Accurate and timeous capturing of Service Item Invoices from WAG
• Payment
• Preparing Creditors Reconciliations
• Prepare payments.
• Capture payment on SAP and process internal reconciliation on SAP
• Assist with checking in of the stock when received
• Assist with stock take
• Responsible for email correspondence for the store
• Checking time and attendance for all staff on a daily basis
