Our client is seeking a full-function Bookkeeper for their team in CPT CBD. You will need to know more than just debtors/creditors/admin.

Location: Cape Town CBD

Requirements:

1. Minimum 5 Years Experience in bookkeeping and accounting, with a strong understanding of managing accounts and the ability to cope with large volumes of data entries.
2. QuickBooks Proficiency (preferably) and experience with Sage Payroll and SARS websites.
3. Strong Computer Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word, and email communications.
4. Organised & Detail-Oriented: Capable of handling large volumes of data, performing reconciliations, and ensuring all accounts are in order.

• Bookkeeping: Manage all accounts to the Trial Balance
• Debtors & Creditors Management: Oversee collections, process payments, and perform reconciliations for both debtors and creditors.
• SARS Compliance: Assist Senior bookkeeper with monthly VAT and PAYE payments, filings, and reports, ensuring the agency is up-to-date with all statutory requirements.
• Wages & Salaries: Administer wages and salaries, while maintaining employee records, leave files, and processing U19 forms.
• Meetings: Regularly review payment reports and resolve outstanding payments.

• Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Off season)
• Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (High Season)
