SUMMARY:
A global client based in Port Elizabeth, Markman is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their growing concern.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Matric.
Minimum of 1 - 3 years experience.
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of bookkeeping practices.
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures.
Working knowledge of relevant computer applications – Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / Power Point).
Bookkeeping software certification will be an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Processing of Multiple Company Bank Statements (Daily, Bi-Weekly)
Processing of Petrol & Credit Card Statements.
Processing of Expense Card Slips & Allocating Payments and following up outstanding slips.
Processing of the Fleet Statements.
Bank Reconciliations.
Invoice Customers for Cash Deposit Fees.
Updating Cash Flow Reports Monthly.
Ensuring all debit orders processed and allocated correctly.
Intercompany allocations.
VAT Returns for multiple companies.
Petty Cash processing and reconciliation.
Loading and capturing cash and supplier payments.
Allocation of customer refunds.
Month End Reports.
Stats SA
Intercompany transfers
Loading recipients onto to banking profiles.
Speedpoint machine reconciliations
