SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Bookkeeper with our client in the automotive sector, based in Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Promote core operating principles of Safety and Health, Environmental Stewardship, highest Ethical Behaviour, Respect for people and Quality throughout the company.
Process creditors'' invoices and payment runs on SAP.
Balance usages and process consignment stock invoice.
Process all cashbook transactions and reconcile bank account daily.
Process overseas payments weekly on SAP.
Maintain all customer sales price contract information on SAP quarterly and adhoc as requested.
Process general ledger journals and intercompany transactions.
Ensure adherence to documented quality management system procedures.

Requirements:

Minimum Matric
Tertiary qualification in Finance advantageous
Excel and ERP systems knowledge, SAP an advantage
3 years'' experience in a Bookkeeping or Accounting functional area
Good understanding of financial accounting principles as relates to the processing of transactions required in this role
