About the Role:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a Media Agency, specialising in Amazon reimbursements, for a 3-month fixed term contract.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in processing reimbursement claims, managing shortages, and ensuring accurate financial recoveries.

This is a hands-on position that requires persistence, accuracy, and the confidence to investigate discrepancies while helping clients recover costs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process reimbursement claims in Amazon Vendor Central / Seller Central.
• Track shortages, chargebacks, recoveries, and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain detailed financial records of all claims and reimbursements.
• Reconcile accounts against Amazon statements for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor outstanding claims and follow up until resolution.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reimbursement reports and highlight anomalies.
• Provide insights into recovery patterns, risks, and delays.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and Amazon guidelines.
• Collaborate with finance and operations to optimise reimbursement workflows.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounts Clerk (eCommerce or retail experience advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and reconciliations.
• Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central/Seller Central processes (claims, reimbursements, chargebacks) highly desirable.
• Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets with strong data management skills.
• Analytical, accurate, and confident working with financial claims or shortages.
