SUMMARY:
A Well - Established Company in Wynberg Sandton seeks a Bookkeeper.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Process supplier invoices and reconcile purchase orders on Sage Pastel.
Perform monthly creditors and debtors reconciliations.
Prepare VAT calculations and assist with month-end and management accounts.
Assist with audit preparation and maintain accurate financial records.
Capture and maintain purchase orders and contract cost information on Excel.
Follow up on outstanding debtor accounts and liaise with clients regarding collections.
Manage the B-BBEE verification process and maintain leave registers.
Coordinate training sessions and maintain engineer registrations on the ECSA portal.
Provide general administrative support, respond to queries, and assist with office coordination.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 3 years' bookkeeping and administration experience.
Proficient in Sage Pastel Accounting.
Pastel Payroll experience is advantageous.
Strong understanding of creditors, debtors, VAT, reconciliations, and month-end procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Experience preparing management accounts and assisting with audits.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines
