SUMMARY:
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with strong debtors and administration experience?

POSITION INFO:
An established organisation within the education sector is seeking a Finance Administrator to join its finance team. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in managing the debtor's function while supporting broader financial administration activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full debtors and accounts receivable function, ensuring accurate billing and timely collection of outstanding fees.
Monitor and maintain student accounts, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
Follow up on overdue accounts and implement effective collection strategies to minimise outstanding debt.
Engage professionally with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to resolve account queries and payment-related matters.
Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end financial processes.
Prepare debtor reports, age analyses, and other financial information for management review.
Support the administration and tracking of company assets.
Assist with the accounts payable function, including invoice processing and supplier reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and procedures.
Provide general finance and administrative support to the finance team.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Grade 12 (Matric).
Certificate, Diploma, or qualification in Bookkeeping, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3–5 years' experience in a finance administration, debtors, accounts receivable, or credit control role.
Previous experience within a school, educational institution, or similar environment will be highly advantageous.
Proven experience managing high-volume debtor accounts and collections.
