SUMMARY:
A Well - Established Company Seeks a Bookkeeper in Bryanston JHB.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Allocate customer receipts and reconcile Xero with internal systems.
Assist with debtor queries and raise sundry debtor invoices.
Process the full creditors function, including matching GRVs to invoices and capturing supplier invoices.
Process local and foreign supplier payments.
Perform consignment stock reconciliations.
Maintain supplier records and process new vendor applications.
Manage the cashbook and perform daily/monthly bank reconciliations.
Prepare month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
Maintain the fixed asset register.
Process monthly financial reconciliations.
Administer insurance additions and claims.
Coordinate annual BEE verification and SARB approval renewals.
Assist with year-end audit preparation and provide supporting documentation.
Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Minimum Requirements

Matric (Grade 12).
Bookkeeping or Accounting qualification (Certificate, Diploma or similar) is advantageous.
Minimum 3-5 years' bookkeeping experience in a similar role.
Experience with Xero accounting software is essential.
FMCG Experience will be an Advantage
Strong debtors, creditors, cashbook and bank reconciliation experience.
Experience processing local and foreign supplier payments.
Knowledge of fixed assets, month-end journals and general ledger reconciliations.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
