POSITION INFO:
Our client is seeking a proactive and organised finance professional to join their finance team and assist with the financial administration of a group of seven companies.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Bookkeeper who enjoys working across multiple entities and is looking to grow their career within a supportive team environment.

This role is based in Sandton.

Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Accounting

• Perform the full bookkeeping function up to trial balance.
• Process and reconcile bank accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and perform reconciliations.
• Process journals and assist with month-end procedures.
• Support the preparation of management accounts.

• Process monthly payroll using Sage Payroll.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records.
• Ensure payroll compliance and accuracy.

• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Prepare and submit EMP201 returns.
• Manage SARS eFiling submissions and related administration.
• Assist with financial compliance requirements.

• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with financial reporting requirements.
• Liaise with management and external stakeholders when required.
• Provide support across multiple entities within the group.

• Bookkeeping Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Experience working within a multi-company or SME environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Pastel Accounting (essential).
• Experience processing payroll using Sage Payroll.
