Bookkeeper / Administrator – East London
Location: East London, Eastern Cape

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Administrator to join their team in East London. This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys working with numbers while also providing efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full bookkeeping function up to trial balance
- Processing creditors and debtors
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Capturing invoices and processing payments
- Assisting with month-end reporting
- Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems
- General office administration and support
- Managing correspondence, documentation, and record keeping
- Assisting with procurement and supplier liaison
- Preparing reports and maintaining spreadsheets
- Data capturing and ensuring accuracy of information
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualification advantageous
- Minimum 3 years' bookkeeping experience
- Experience working on accounting software (Pastel, Sage, Xero, or similar)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office Suite
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
