SUMMARY:
A well-established healthcare distribution business, based in Randburg, is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional with a completed Diploma and strong operational accounting experience.

POSITION INFO:
Our client is a reputable national business supplying specialised products and services to the healthcare industry across South Africa. The organisation has a long-standing market presence and offers a stable, collaborative working environment.

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily finance operations, and ensuring the integrity of transactional processing within a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Full bookkeeping function, up to trial balance
Accounts payable and accounts receivable management
Bank, creditor, and debtor reconciliations
Processing journals and maintaining the general ledger
Assisting with month-end procedures and reporting
VAT preparation and submission support
Monitoring cash flow and payment schedules
Supporting auditors and finance management with documentation
Maintaining financial records and filing systems

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Finance (essential)
3–5 years’ bookkeeping experience
Strong reconciliation and attention-to-detail skills
Experience on accounting systems (e.g., Sage, Pastel, or similar)
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong organisational and communication skills
