SUMMARY:
Bookkeeper - George 

Accounting Firm based in the heart of George, is on a recruitment drive for a mature, Afrikaans 1st language lady to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Maintaining accurate financial records and process transactions up to trial balance
• handling multiple client accounts efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Communicate professionally with clients, providing clear and timely updates
• Prepare all accounting records on monthly basis for various clients for submission of VAT201, EMP201, UIF and SDL return

• Annual CIPC and Beneficial ownership submissions
• Submit VAT201 and EMP201 returns on e-filing
• EMP501 submissions (Bi-annual & annual)
• File Workman's compensation

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications:

• Matric + relevant bookkeeping / accounting diploma qualification
• +5 years - full function bookkeeping experience
• Solid working knowledge of Pastel and Excel
• Strong understanding of VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL and Workman's comp
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills - Afrikaans & English
