SUMMARY:
We require a Bookkeeper / Credit Controller near Melrose Arch area. Agriculture or fruit export industry experience preferred.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12
Suitable Accounting/Finance Diploma or Degree
At least 4 years financial experience
Payroll experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
Invoicing and Billing: Prepare and send invoices to clients, ensure timely payment, and manage billing inquiries.
Inventory Management: Track and record inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and managing discrepancies.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, prepare financial reports, and assist with audits.
Cost Analysis: Monitor and analyze costs associated with fruit exports, including shipping, handling, and storage.
Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, providing insights and recommendations for cost-saving measures.
Communication: Liaise with suppliers, clients, and logistics companies to ensure smooth financial transactions and resolve any issues.
Documentation: Maintain and organize all financial documents related to fruit exports, including contracts, shipping documents, and tax records.
Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software and tools to manage financial data and generate reports.
