SUMMARY:
Well-established company based on the East Rand seeks a Bookkeeper to join their team!

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ bookkeeping experience.
Bookkeeping degree or relevant qualification.
Proficiency in Sage, Eworks Management System, Accountability, MS Word, and Excel.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Record daily financial transactions in general ledgers.
Manage accounts payable and receivable (invoices, receipts, payments).
Reconcile bank statements and internal accounts.
Process payroll accurately and on time.
Prepare financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports).
Issue invoices, process receipts, and maintain ledgers.
Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations.
Assist with annual accounts and tax preparation.
Monitor cash flow and provide management reports.
Proficient use of accounting software and spreadsheets.
