SUMMARY:
Permanent role for Bookkeeper - International Company offering excellent opportunity to gain experience in a challenging environment with international finance

Location: Office-based, Cape Town CBD

POSITION INFO:
Our client is an International company with Head office in Berlin Germany. They are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their Cape Town based finance team. They require strong experience in managing debtors and creditors. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, high-volume environment within an international organisation. Key Responsibilities:

Manage and reconcile accounts receivable (debtors) and accounts payable (creditors)
Ensure timely invoicing, payment follow-ups, and processing of supplier invoices
Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Process high volumes of transactions efficiently and accurately
Support the finance team with audits and other ad-hoc tasks as needed

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar bookkeeping role
A certificate, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or Finance
Strong knowledge of debtors and creditors processes
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, Xero, Sage, or similar) and minimum of intermediate Excel proficiency
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a high transaction volume environment
Strong communication and organisational skills
