A manufacturing company is currently looking for a Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator to join their finance team as soon as possible.

As the Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator, you will be involved in every aspect of the finance department ensuring that the correct information is presented on a continuous basis.

As a Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for the following:

Bookkeeping:

• General ledger accounting (GL recons/intercompany accounts/monthly journals etc)
• Variance analysis (review income statement)
• Cash books (understand vat impact)
• Debtors
• Creditors
• Fixed assets

Payroll:

• Manage the clocking system
• Computation of salaries and wages using VIP Payroll
• Update payroll records
• Monthly SARS E-filling submissions
• Annual EMP501 Submission to SARS
• Administration of payroll 3^rd payments
• Assist HR Department

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Matric/Grade 12 (Certificate required)

Certificate / Diploma in Bookkeeping

Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in a similar position

Advanced knowledge of VIP Payroll packages

Pastel Evolution is preferred
