Purpose of the Job:
To perform required office administration and financial/accounting functions for a large mixed farming operation 20 kms from Howick (KZN).
 

Required Qualifications & Experience:

1. A tertiary qualification in Bookkeeping, Admin or Accounting - essential
2. An accounting or business degree – highly advantageous.
3. At least 6 years of experience in a similar senior Bookkeeping role.

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies & Experience:

1. Financial Accounting in a multiple entity business
2. Ability to produce monthly management accounts.
3. Cashbook processing & reconciliation
4. Debtors and creditors management
5. Asset Register – maintenance & depreciation calculations
6. Vehicle Asset Finance – charges & amortisation calculations
7. SARS - PAYE & VAT returns and recons
8. Pastel (or similar accounting package) experience - essential
9. Advance Excel capability is essential
