POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

• Processing of monthly journals
• Audit branches and their controls and attending stock takes - Travel can be one – two times a month to various branches in JHB
• Maintain Fixed Asset/ Rental Asset Registers
• Processing of asset transfers/ disposals
• Processing of monthly scrapping of assets
• Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
• Performing of monthly GL reconciliations
• Preparing monthly reconciliation file
• Review and sign off on monthly creditor recons file for payment
• Assist the accountant and financial managers with ad hoc exercises

• Work with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.
• Maintain data integrity and support system upgrades or improvements.
• Automate and streamline financial processes where possible.
• Support strategic decisions through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Recommend improvements to financial processes and internal controls.
