They ensure accounts are accurate, up to date, and ready for reporting or audits.
Bookkeepers also handle tasks like bank reconciliations, invoicing, and tracking expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recording financial transactions such as sales, purchases, receipts, and payments accurately and promptly.
• Maintaining and balancing ledgers and journals to ensure up-to-date financial records.
• Reconciling bank statements to verify and correct discrepancies.
• Processing invoices and payments for customers and suppliers.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable to track incoming and outgoing funds.
• Preparing financial reports like profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries.
• Assisting with payroll processing and related record keeping.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Supporting auditors during financial audits by providing accurate records and explanations.

• National diploma
• 2-4 years’ related experience
