Boilermaker

SUMMARY:
On behalf of a respected client in the heavy fabrication and manufacturing sector, we are actively seeking a qualified Boilermaker with proven experience in pressure vessels. POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication, assembly, and repair of pressure vessels and related components
• Interpretation of technical drawings, codes, and specifications (ASME, etc.)
• Proficient use of heavy-duty tools and welding equipment (TIG, MIG, Stick)
• Conducting pressure tests and quality checks to ensure code compliance
• Adhering to all OH&S procedures and maintaining a safe work environment
• Working closely with engineers, supervisors, and quality control teams

Requirements

• Trade Qualification as a Boilermaker / Metal Fabricator
• Extensive experience working on pressure vessels (minimum 3 years preferred)
• Strong welding skills across multiple processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Understanding of ASME and other relevant pressure vessel standards
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to pass pre-employment medicals and weld tests

Desirable (but not essential)

• Pressure Vessel Welding Certification
• Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets
• Forklift or Crane operation licenses
