Are you an experienced Utilities Technician with hands-on expertise in thermic fluid heaters, boilers, and compressor systems? Join a leading manufacturer in the packaging industry, where your knowledge of utility systems ensures smooth production and equipment efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain utility systems including thermic fluid heaters (oil-based), steam boilers, air compressors, chillers, and drying units.
- Monitor thermic fluid system parameters (temperature, pressure, flow); conduct inspections and fluid top-ups.
- Perform routine maintenance on pressure vessels, valves, burners, and interlock systems in line with OEM standards.
- Ensure uninterrupted utility supply (heat, air, water) to production areas across all shifts.
- Maintain operational logs, identify system abnormalities, and assist in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Ensure strict adherence to OHSA, Pressure Equipment Regulations, and environmental compliance for thermal systems.
Requirements:
- Valid Boiler Operator or Thermic Fluid Heater Operator Certificate (per local legal requirements).
- 2–3 years’ experience in utility operations, preferably in flexible packaging or chemical processing environments.
- Strong knowledge of oil-based thermic heating systems, steam systems, and compressed air operations.
- Ability to interpret P&ID diagrams and perform first-line mechanical fault diagnosis.
