SUMMARY:
Are you a skilled Blockman with experience in cutting, trimming and preparing meat? Our client based in Durban is looking for a reliable and experienced individual to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

• Cutting, deboning and trimming various types of meat
• Portioning meat as per customer or shop requirements
• Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and equipment
• Ensuring proper storage, rotation and labelling of meat
• Assisting customers with meat selections and providing advice
• Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
• Complying with food safety, health and hygiene regulations
• Ensuring quality control and freshness of products.

• Must have experience as a Blockman
• Knowledge of meat cuts (beef, lamb, pork, chicken)
• Knife skills and use of butchery equipment
• Familiar with hygiene and safety regulations
• Able to work under pressure and meet targets
• Honest, reliable and physically fit
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays
