Our client, a dedicated government healthcare organization committed to advancing occupational health initiatives, is seeking a skilled Biostatistician to contribute to impactful research and policy development.
Provide biostatistical support to government departments in developing workplace health policies, systems, and programmes.
Conduct biostatistical analyses to support occupational health research initiatives.
Assist in planning and implementing occupational health research for both public and private sectors regarding occupational diseases and injuries.
Review, advise, and develop statistical analysis plans for grant applications, protocols, publications, and reports.
Coordinate and participate in training health professionals and students, including the development of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programmes.
Contribute to lectures in biostatistics and epidemiology courses.
Engage with multinational partners on programmes of mutual interest, particularly with the NHLS-NIOH.
Conduct research to increase scientific knowledge within the NIOH and in collaboration with external partners.
Contribute to the national technical information service by providing epidemiological and biostatistical expertise.
Prepare scientific reports and peer-reviewed papers.
Ensure compliance with lawful instructions from management.
