POSITION INFO:

Billing Administrator (Telecommunications)

In this role, you will be tasked with providing effective and efficient administrative and co-ordination support to the Billing and Sales Teams

The ideal candidate will meet the following Minimum requirements:

  • Matric (with Accounting as a subject)
  • Degree or Diploma - in Management or Finance or related is preferred
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a billing support / admin role within the  ITC (non negotiable)
  • Understanding of contractual, business agreements and foreign currencies conversions
  • Ideally you will have good knowledge of and exposure to sales and billing within the ICT space
  • MS Office Management Skills
  • Good oral and written communications skills

 

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintaining customer details on ERP ensuring information is current
  • Ensuring customer is billed as per the contract –Enterprise segments
  • Ensuring in respect of the Enterprise customers, that a fully signed OF is available to proceed with creation of templates
  • Creating billing templates for entry into ERP
  • Verifying that all services are invoiced and that it’s done correctly
  • Creating credit notes templates for entry to ERP
  • Obtaining approvals as per the DOA
  • Inputing credit note details onto ERP for processing
  • Ensuring all cancellation and abortive charges are invoiced or credit notes issued.
  • Tracking all Service handovers on Sharepoint
  • Creating and providing statistical reports
  • Managing and respond to queries from internal and external customers

 

 

Location: Johannesburg North (Fourways), Gauteng

Duration: 6 months (to perm)
