Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Beamline Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining a Voortman beamline machine, ensuring high-quality production of structural steel components in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Voortman beamline machinery to process structural steel components accurately and efficiently.
- Perform regular maintenance and basic troubleshooting on the machine to ensure uninterrupted operation.
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments to machine settings as needed to meet specifications.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and job orders to determine machine operations.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols while operating machinery.
- Collaborate with team members, including engineers and fabricators, to optimize workflow and meet production targets.
- Keep detailed records of machine operations, maintenance, and production output.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating Voortman beamline machines or similar CNC machinery.
- Strong technical skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
