Bartender

SUMMARY:
Restaurant based in Bahrain is looking for a pre-opening Bartender.  
 
This restaurant will be celebrating Bahrain’s soul, bringing Bahrain’s rich fishing heritage to life, with an elevated yet easy-going atmosphere, it is set to become a must-visit destination for both locals and travellers seeking authenticity, flavour and heart.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:
 
Serving of beverages to guests in line with the brand Standards of Excellence.
Carrying out assigned tasks effectively and efficiently.
Ensuring that the guest and service areas of the bar area is always kept clean and tidy.
Correct use and maintenance of equipment.
Communication with front of house staff and management
 
Requirements:
 
Grade 12
At least 2 years’ experience in a barman / barista position
Experience in a high-end property / restaurant
Knowledgeable of food preparation and terminology of food
Good English reading, writing and speaking ability
Excellent bar service skills
Knowledge of wines, cocktails and all other beverages
Stock control procedures
Excellent presentation and people skills
The ability to work as an individual and as a team
The ability to communicate with guests of all races and languages
An understanding of the etiquette involved in hosting guests of different cultures.
