- Cocktail Preparation: Craft and serve a variety of high-quality and visually appealing cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages. Consistently maintain the highest standards of drink presentation and taste.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Engage with patrons, recommend drinks, and help in making selections.
- Order Processing: Take drink orders accurately, process transactions, and handle cash and electronic payments. Keep the bar area clean and organised, including the arrangement of drink ingredients and utensils.
- Menu Knowledge: Stay informed about current and upcoming beverage trends. Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the drink menu, including ingredients, brewing methods, and serving techniques.
- Customisation: Accommodate guest preferences by customizing drinks based on individual tastes and dietary restrictions. Offer personalised recommendations based on the guest's preferences.
- Maintaining Supplies: Monitor and manage bar inventory, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and barware. Place orders for supplies as needed, ensuring sufficient stock levels.
- Adherence to Regulations: Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices. Verify the age of guests to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
- Customisation: Accommodate guest preferences by customizing drinks based on individual tastes and dietary restrictions. Offer personalised recommendations based on the guest's preferences.

THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Matric certificate
- Previous experience in bartending or hospitality roles.
- Excellent knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Leadership skills to supervise trainees and interns effectively.
