Experienced Barista

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Barista to join our team.
The ideal candidate must have proven Barista experience and be confident working in a professional, customer-focused environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean, hygienic and professional coffee station.

POSITION INFO:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and hot beverages.
Operate and maintain commercial coffee equipment.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of espresso-based coffee preparation.
Perform grinding, dosing, tamping, extraction and milk steaming correctly.
Provide friendly, professional and efficient customer service.
Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic work area.
Follow food safety, hygiene and company procedures.
Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control.
Minimise wastage and ensure the coffee station remains adequately stocked.
Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
Work effectively as part of a team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Proven Barista experience is essential.
Experience operating a commercial espresso machine.
Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso-based beverages.
Practical knowledge of milk steaming and coffee extraction.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Reliable, punctual and professionally presented.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
